The Scottrade Center/St. Louis Blues is looking for a responsible Executive Assistant who will provide administrative support in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Directly supporting the Chief Executive Officer, this key role will maintain schedules, handle travel arrangements and manage special projects as assigned.
Duties will include, but are not limited
to, the following:
- Prioritize incoming information and/or
appointments
- Effectively manage Executive’s schedule and calendar
- Prepare and compile meeting agendas and presentation
documents
- Receive and respond to emails, memos and other correspondence
- Prepare and track various reports
Successful candidates will have:
- 5 - 8 years of executive support experience.
- College degree strongly preferred.
- Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention
to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
skills.
- Self-starter with a proven ability to take initiative
on time sensitive projects.
- Team-oriented attitude with strong integrity and professionalism.
- Advanced PC skills with experience using Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional telephone protocol.
- Advanced ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
simultaneously.
- Ability to use good judgment in confidential situations.

Relations Coordinator

The St. Louis Blues seek a Community Relations Coordinator to assist the Director of Community Relations & St. Louis Blues 14 Fund with all aspects of the team's community involvement activities including community outreach programs, in-game activities, donations, database management, and special event planning. This position will also serve as a liaison with various community and corporate organizations.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manage charitable donation program.
- Facilitate charitable ticket requests, and donations to/from
ticket donation programs. (Fan-to-Fan and Kids Night Out)
- Coordinate and execute in-game silent auctions to benefit
the St. Louis Blues 14 Fund.
- Oversee select community outreach activities (Shoot Against
Hunger, Military Night, McDonald’s Stick Night, Toys
for Tots, Race for the Cure)
- Manage the execution of all educational programs. (Ex.
Blues Bookworms, Hat Trick for Health)
- Oversee volunteer program. Recruit and coordinate volunteers
for in-game auctions, in-game fundraising and special events.
- Order and inventory all signed merchandise for the Community
Relations department.
- Assist in coordinating special events including: FANfest,
Blues Charity Golf Tournament, Blues in Black. Responsible
for event RSVPs, silent auctions, and gift bags/merchandise.
- Develop promotional material, in-game PAs and content
for stlouisblues.com for select community programs.
- Adhere to guidelines and budgets for all programs and
provide evaluations after completion of programs.
- Assist the department with other duties and assignments
as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Requires availability to work some weeknights
and weekends in addition to normal business hours during
the season.
- 2 years experience in PR, Marketing, Community Relations
or related field.
- General office/administrative experience.
- Organization and attention to detail is a must.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and take initiative.
- High ethical standards and a strong sense of confidentiality.
- Knowledge of fundraising principals.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college
or university, and or equivalent training and experience
