From ushers to security, box office to retail, our team is as diverse and unique as our arena itself. Whether you are looking for a Full Time or Part Time position, Scottrade Center is an ideal work destination for individuals across the region.
PART TIME POSITIONS

Scottrade Center offers a number of part-time event related positions such as box office, retail, ushers and security. For a commitment of only one or two days a week you can be an integral part of the action of the variety of events that take place at Scottrade Center. Our part-time positions offer great pay and flexible schedules for service oriented individuals.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Guest Service Host
Our Guest Service Hosts play a critical role ensuring the Guests to our arena have a fantastic experience whether it’s watching Blues Hockey game, family show or concert performed by a world-class performer.  Our Hosts politely greet each Guest with a smile and kind word, scan their ticket and direct them to their seat.  During the event our Hosts give directions, assist Guests with disabilities, resolve complaints and ensure the buildings safety rules are being followed.

Qualifications:
The right candidate is outgoing, polite, friendly, and proactively seeks out Guests in need. He/She is willing and able to handle tough, high pressure situations while remaining calm and professional.  Previous customer service experience is required.  You must be able to stand during an entire event in a cold arena.  Sometimes Guest Service Hosts are required to set up/take down chairs (must be able to life/carry up to 25 pounds) or push Guests in a wheelchair.  Guest Service Hosts usually work evenings and weekends and must be available to work 70% of the events in the building.

Guest Service Security
Our trained and professional Guest Security staff is responsible for making sure each and every Guest who enters the facility is safe and can enjoy the entertainment offered without incident.  Our security staff must be focused on the details of the event, know our building and safety rules, and be actively looking for Guests who may need assistance.   Guest Security handles crowd management and quickly responds and politely resolves seating discrepancies, clears aisles and settles disputes in a discreet manner so other Guests are not disturbed. 

Qualifications:
The right candidate is outgoing, polite, friendly, and detail oriented. He/She is willing and able to actively engage people in tough, high pressure situations while remaining calm and professional.  Previous customer service experience is required.  Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain an unarmed security license from St. Louis City/County.  Please note this license requires an FBI background check and two-day class.  You must be able to stand during an entire event in a cold arena.  Sometimes Guest Security are required to set up/take down chairs (must be able to life/carry up to 25 pounds) or push Guests in a wheelchair.  Guest Security usually work evenings and weekends and must be available to work 70% of the events in the building.

Retail Service Host
Retail Service Hosts work in a variety of locations throughout the building from the team store, special kiosks or even as a roving vendor.  Regardless of location the mission is the same: make every Guest feel special and help them purchase that one of a kind souvenir.  Retail Hosts politely greet each Guest and offer suggestions on products and apparel available for purchase.  The Host rings each Guest out quickly while properly entering inventory and monies received.  Lastly, he/she must thank each Guest with a smile, and do all this while making each transaction very quick. 

Qualifications:
The right candidate is friendly, polite, fast working and detail oriented team player.  He/She must be willing work in a close, fast-paced environment and communicate respectfully and politely to Guests and other members of the team.  Candidates must be able to quickly and accurately make change and operate a register.  Some computer experience or register experience required.  You must be able to stand during an entire event in a cold arena.  Sometimes Retail Service Hosts are required to lift/carry 50 pounds during a shift.  Retail Service Hosts usually work afternoons and evenings during concerts, evenings and weekends for other events and must be available to work 75% of the events in the building.
